Members of the Budweisers team parlayed their fame and talent into outside ventures, such as endorsement deals and alley ownership. Budweisers team member and future Hall of Famer Don Carter opened the Don Carter Airport Bowl in St. Louis during the height of the team’s popularity. Some lucky visitors received commemorative lighters after the team’s 1958 world-record score.
