Date: 1908

Cincinnati hosted the 8th annual American Bowling Congress tournament in the “fireproof” armory on Freeman Avenue in 1908. In preparation for the event, the armory constructed 18 bowling alleys, set up offices for league officials and executives, and constructed two large reception rooms for women.
