Willingness to embrace new technologies has long been a strength of the bowling industry. From the early adoption of rubber balls to computerized lane maintenance, bowlers and proprietors have not shied away from change. The computational equipment in the Brunswick Automatic Scorer was a leap forward, and the sport ultimately welcomed automatic scoring with open arms.
