THE EAST GERMAN DELEGATES
Date: August 20, 1971
The FIQ held the 7th World Championships in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, marking the first time the event was held in the United States. The mixed-gender competition featured bowlers from 32 countries, including East Germany (then part of the Soviet bloc). Three male delegates from East Berlin attended the tournament and presented American bowling star Alberta Crowe with this DKV pin.
