PINS AS TROPHIES
Date: undated
In addition to playing an integral role in bowling game play, bowling pins have come to serve many other purposes. Engraved pins might have been given as prizes or souvenirs following participation in a tournament. Though the history of the Cubs team is unknown, it is possible that they were a 1910s bowling team near Green Bay, Wisconsin. The names of at least six men are carved into the back of this old wooden pin, their bowling success immortalized.
