NAGY’S 38TH
Date: June 14, 1961
Steve Nagy bowled his 38th perfect game on the second night of the San Jose Open in 1961. The veteran bowler saw a great deal of success in his career, claiming five championship titles during the 1950s and bowling with All-American teams. To celebrate the 38th 300, he happily posed for a photo at the end of the Brunswick lanes. Nagy was inducted into the ABC Hall of Fame in 1963.
