CONVERGING ON INDY
Date: 1936
Over 37 days from March to April 1936, thousands of bowlers participated in the 36th International Championship Tournament from the American Bowling Congress, held at the State Fairground Coliseum in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was the largest tournament to date with more than 391 American cities represented. The Falls City Hi-Brus of Indianapolis assembled a final score of 3,089 to win the tournament and the $1,000 cash prize. Harry McDonald of Columbus, Ohio, topped the singles scoring with 673 pins.
