Dayton, Ohio, welcomed bowlers in 1957 for the Women’s International Bowling Congress. Dayton has long considered itself the birthplace of aviation, being the site of Wilbur and Orville Wright’s bicycle shop and the place where the brothers proved powered flight was possible.
