A WEBER FAMILY AFFAIR

Following the 1969 BPAA All-Star Tournament, Dick Weber and his wife Juanita accepted his runner-up trophy from the event. Weber’s bowling career spanned several decades, marked by remarkable achievements and a lasting legacy in the sport. Hailing from Indianapolis, Indiana, Weber emerged as a dominant force in the bowling world during the mid-20th century. Renowned for his smooth delivery and accuracy, he captured numerous titles, including multiple Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) championships and American Bowling Congress (now known as the United States Bowling Congress) titles. Weber’s partnership with Juanita, both on and off the lanes, further enriched his journey, demonstrating their shared passion for the sport. Their son Peter, the youngest of their four children, followed in his father’s footsteps with inductions into the PBA Hall of Fame and the United States Bowling Hall of Fame.
