A TAG FOR THE TOURNEY
Date: 1972
Bowling became very popular in Japan in the 1960s and 1970s, when nearly 3,700 bowling centers popped up. In 1967, the Japan Professional Bowling Association (JPBA) was founded to serve as the governing body for professional bowling in the nation. Participants in the 4th All Japan Masters Tournament, some of whom were likely members of the JPBA, might have attached this luggage tag to their bowling bags or suitcases.
