A CHAMPIONSHIP IN CHINA

The 27th AMF Bowling World Cup was held in Beijing, China, marking the first time the nation had hosted the tournament. American Jon Juneau and Swede Asa Larsson picked up the titles, donning traditional Chinese dress during the awards ceremony. Juneau came from behind to clench the tournament, defeating famed Filipino champion Paeng Nepomuceno.
