CELEBRITIES GO BOWLING
Bowling has enjoyed over a century of popularity in the United States. It is the nation’s top participatory sport, and has been the subject of literature, film, satire and political photo op. It comes as no surprise, then, that celebrities and politicians have taken to bowling, both for publicity and personal recreation. In a time when millions of Americans were bowling, joining leagues and paying dues to national organizations, celebrities could make themselves immensely relatable by lacing up their bowling shoes and hitting the boards.
