BEFORE HE ROLLED FOR BUD
Date: January 11, 1951
Ray Bluth, St. Louis native and Budweiser team member, spent most of his life involved in the world of bowling. In addition to being a professional bowler, Bluth worked with the Brunswick bowling company, offered clinics and operated bowling alleys. Before joining the Budweisers team in 1954, Bluth bowled with other St. Louis teams, including the Zierns Antiques bowling team. Bluth led the Zierns to victory at the 1951 St. Louis All-Star League tournament, scoring a 697.
