Anheuser-Busch placed a bet on bowling in 1954 that paid a huge return. The beer company offered a one-year sponsorship deal to the fledgling Budweisers, who then became the most dominant team in the sport for a decade. Bona fide sports star Dick Weber joined the team in 1955 and proudly sported the beer company’s logo and name on uniforms like this one for decades.
