PIN-SETTING A GOOD EXAMPLE
Date: December 27, 1959
Workers adjusted the Brunswick pinsetters installed at the Civic Auditorium for the 19th Annual BPAA All-Star Tournament in Omaha. The technology was still relatively new in the 1950s, but many bowlers and alley proprietors embraced pinsetters. One veteran pin boy from Nebraska shared his viewpoint: “I have worked in places where they use these machines and they have two important merits over the human pin-setter. They don’t get tired or temperamental.”
